Artists like “Whistlin’ Britches” often face illness that prevents them from touring and earning an income with their music. Your donations help provide monthly stipends through our Musician Sustenance Program to assist these artists in meeting their day-to-day needs. A deeply spiritual man, Whistlin’ Britches has said, “I am here to spread joy and peace, my life is in God’s hands.” He is very proud of his new CD, sharing it with nurses, doctors and neighbors. A longtime Music Maker supporter recently told me he listens to Whistlin’ every night driving home from work as it makes him laugh and smile.
