The first selection (December 2009) is Etta Baker Banjo. Etta Baker was the premier Piedmont Blues instrumentalist until her passing in 2006 at the age of 93. She learned the banjo from her father as a child, but became famous for her seminal artistry on finger-style guitar--influencing Bob Dylan and generations of acoustic guitarists.
