This album highlights Randy Burns' years of experience as a folksinger; as part of the Urban Folk Revival in Greenwich Village, his musical roots go way back.

Randy Burns is from Connecticut. He left home at the age of 17 for New York City pursing his music. At 18 he landed a gig as the permanent opening act at the legendary Gaslight Club in Greenwich Village. During the '60's he recorded for ESP Records. In the early '70's he recorded for major labels Mercury and Polydor. He continues to write new songs and perform, "The Simple Things" being a result of this.
